The bulletin fixes the format and the KB range, not exact pixels. The pixel sizes in the buttons are sensible defaults (413 × 531 px is 3.5 × 4.5 cm at 300 DPI) and the KB target stays inside the allowed range. The image resizer runs in your browser; nothing is uploaded.

How to prepare the NEET upload files
- Take a recent front-facing photo against a white wall in good daylight; keep ears visible and no mask.
- Crop so the face fills about 80% of the frame, then tap the NEET photo preset to save a JPG under 200 KB.
- Sign on white paper, crop tightly and use the signature preset to get a JPG under 100 KB.
- Scan or photograph the finger and thumb impressions and use the impression preset.
- Compress certificate PDFs to under 300 KB, then upload all files and check the preview in the NTA form.
Physical photos for exam day
The same passport size photo you upload is pasted on the attendance sheet at the centre and used again in counselling. NTA advises keeping 6–8 passport size and 4–6 postcard size (4 × 6 inch) colour prints with a white background. Make the prints from the same file with the passport photo sheet maker (A4 or 4 × 6), and keep the original JPG safe.
Common reasons NEET uploads are rejected
- Face too small – the face should fill about 80% of the photo, not a full-length or half-body shot.
- Ears hidden, mask on, or a coloured or patterned background.
- A selfie with heavy filters, or a scan of an old printed photo.
- File just over the limit – for 200 KB keep it near 150 KB; for the signature stay well under 100 KB.
- Signature in capital letters or on lined paper.
