Frequently asked questions
Why does my 50 KB photo look the same as the original?
Form photos are small in pixels, so 50 KB is enough for good quality. The tool keeps the highest quality that fits.
The portal says JPG only – what format do I get?
Choose JPG in the format box (it is the default). WebP is smaller but many government portals reject it.
Can I compress 20 student photos at once?
Yes. Select them all, press Compress and download a single ZIP.
Does this work offline?
Once the page has loaded, compression runs without internet.
