Kruti Dev 010 एक पुराना "legacy" हिंदी फ़ॉन्ट है जिसमें अंग्रेज़ी अक्षरों की जगह हिंदी आकार दिखते हैं – जैसे "Hkkjr" टाइप करने पर "भारत" दिखता है। यह फ़ॉन्ट न होने पर टेक्स्ट बिगड़ जाता है और Google, WhatsApp, सरकारी पोर्टल या ई-मेल में काम नहीं करता। Unicode (Mangal, Nirmala UI, Noto) हर जगह सही दिखता है।
Many government offices, courts, eMitra/CSC centres and typing exams still use Kruti Dev, while online forms, websites and phones need Unicode.
