About Crop Desk
Crop Desk is a free, browser-based tool that cuts many photos and signatures out of one sheet and saves them as numbered files.
Why we made it
In India, admission and exam season means filling hundreds of online forms. Schools, teachers and cyber cafe operators often receive one sheet with many people's photos and signatures pasted on it, and then spend hours cutting each one out in a photo editor. Crop Desk turns that into a few minutes: upload the sheet, check the boxes, download one ZIP.
Humne yeh tool isliye banaya taaki school aur cyber cafe ka form bharne ka kaam jaldi aur bina galti ke ho.
What Crop Desk does
- Detects two common sheet layouts automatically (signature above photo, or photo above signature)
- Lets you draw boxes, add boxes or build a grid for any other form, and save layouts
- Nudges and resizes boxes with simple buttons or arrow keys
- Downloads all photos and signatures as
1_photo.jpg,1_sign.jpg… in one ZIP, or one person at a time
Privacy first
All processing happens in your browser. Your sheets and the cropped photos are not uploaded to our server. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Independent and free
Crop Desk is an independent project. It is not affiliated with any government department, exam board, university or the e-Mitra / CSC programmes. The site may show ads to cover hosting costs; the tool stays free.
Guides
We also publish plain-language guides on photo and signature sizes, scanning and resizing for online forms. We try hard to be accurate, but official requirements change – always confirm with your exam's official notification.
