Privacy Policy

Last updated: 10 October 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Crop Desk ("we", "us", "our"), available at https://cropdesk.co.in (the "Site"), handles information. By using the Site you agree to this policy.

1. Your photos and signatures are not uploaded

The Crop Desk tool works entirely in your web browser. When you "upload" a sheet, the image is opened locally inside the page on your device. Detecting boxes, cropping, and creating the ZIP file all happen on your device. We do not receive, store or see your images or the cropped files. When you close or reload the page, the images are cleared from the page's memory.

If you use "Save this layout", only the layout (box positions and a name) is stored in your own browser's local storage so you can reuse it. It stays on your device; you can remove it by clearing your browser's site data.

2. Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically record basic technical information when pages are requested, such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and time of request, for security and to keep the service running. We do not use this to identify you personally.

The Site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers to download them. Google's privacy policy applies to that connection.

3. Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. The Crop Desk tool itself does not need cookies to work. However, third parties such as advertising partners may place and read cookies on your browser when you visit the Site, as described below. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the tool will continue to work.

4. Advertising and Google AdSense

We may use Google AdSense and other third-party advertising to show ads on the Site. In that case:

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites.
  • Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to our users based on their visit to this Site and/or other sites on the Internet.
  • Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies (including the DoubleClick DART cookie) to serve ads on our Site. Google's use of the DART cookie enables it to serve ads to our users based on their visit to our Site and other sites on the Internet.
  • Users may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You may opt out of the use of the DART cookie by visiting the Google ad and content network privacy policy at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
  • Alternatively, you can opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info/choices.

Third-party ad servers or ad networks may use technologies such as cookies, JavaScript or web beacons in their ads and links that appear on the Site, which are sent directly to your browser. They automatically receive your IP address when this occurs. We have no access to or control over these cookies. Please consult the respective privacy policies of these third-party ad servers for more information. Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Visitors from regions that require consent (such as the European Economic Area or the UK) may be shown a consent message before personalised ads are served.

5. Analytics

If we add a privacy-friendly analytics service in the future to understand how many people visit which pages, we will update this policy. Analytics would never include your photos.

6. Links to other websites

Our guides may link to other websites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

7. Children's information

The Site is a general-audience tool often used by schools. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because images are processed on the device and not uploaded, student photos handled with the tool are not collected by us. If you believe a child has sent us personal information by email, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Your choices

  • Clear or block cookies in your browser.
  • Opt out of personalised ads using the links above.
  • Clear saved layouts by clearing the Site's data in your browser.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it was last changed.
