Carousel Splitter – Split a Panorama into Instagram Slides

Make a seamless swipe-through carousel from one wide photo or design. Choose how many slides you want (2–10) and the shape – square 1:1, portrait 4:5 or simple equal strips – check the cut lines on the preview, and download every slide in posting order as a ZIP.

Ek lambi photo ko Instagram carousel ke barabar hisson mein baantiye.

How to use the Carousel Splitter

  1. Choose a wide image such as a panorama, group photo or long design.
  2. Set the number of slides and the shape. Square 1:1 and portrait 4:5 are the standard Instagram carousel sizes.
  3. Check the preview: dashed lines show the cuts and dimmed areas are trimmed so every slide has the same shape.
  4. Press Download all as ZIP. Files are numbered 01, 02, 03… so you can upload them in order.

For a perfect seamless effect, the image should be about N times as wide as it is tall for square slides (for example 3240 × 1080 px for 3 slides), or N × 4 : 5 for portrait slides. If the shape does not match, the tool crops evenly from the centre instead of stretching.

Frequently asked questions

What size are the slides?

By default each slide is 1080 px wide – 1080 × 1080 for square or 1080 × 1350 for 4:5 – which is what Instagram recommends.

Why is part of my image dimmed?

The picture is not exactly the right shape for the chosen number of slides, so the dimmed edges are trimmed to keep all slides equal.

Can I use it for LinkedIn or Facebook carousels?

Yes. Square slides work on most platforms that support multi-image posts.

Is my image uploaded?

No. Slicing and ZIP creation happen in your browser.
