Document Scanner – Turn a Photo into a Flat Scan

Took a slanted photo of a form, certificate or receipt? Drag the four corners onto the page (they are guessed automatically when the edges are clear) and Crop Desk straightens it into a flat, rectangular scan. Then clean it up with the Enhanced or Black & White filter and save it as JPG or PDF.

Mobile photo ko seedha, saaf scan banaiye – bina app, bina upload.

How to use the Document Scanner

  1. Take a photo of the page on a darker, plain surface in good light, then choose it here.
  2. Check the four corner handles. Drag any that are off so they sit exactly on the page corners.
  3. Press Scan. The page is warped into a flat rectangle.
  4. Choose Original, Enhanced or Black & White, then download a JPG or a PDF.

Auto-detection works best when the paper is clearly brighter than the table behind it. If it guesses wrong, just drag the handles – it takes a few seconds. The Black & White filter uses adaptive thresholding, which removes shadows and makes text crisp for forms and printing.

🔒 Privacy: this tool runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript. Your files are never uploaded to Crop Desk or any other server, there is no sign-up, and you can even use it offline once the page has loaded.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to install an app?

No. It runs in any modern browser on Android, iPhone or desktop.

Why are the corners not detected?

Detection needs contrast between the page and the background. On a white table or with heavy shadows, place the handles by hand.

Which filter should I use for forms?

Black & White gives the cleanest text and smallest files. Use Enhanced for photos, stamps or coloured documents.

Is my photo uploaded?

No. Detection, warping and filters all run on your device.
