Thumb Impression Resizer – Left Thumb (LTI) 240×240 px, 20–50 KB

Bank and many government forms ask for a left thumb impression (LTI) as a JPG of 240 × 240 pixels at 200 DPI, 20–50 KB. Take a phone photo of your thumb print on white paper – this tool crops it, whitens the paper and makes a file that passes the size check.

How to make a thumb impression for an online form

  1. Press your left thumb on a stamp pad (blue or black ink) and then on plain white paper.
  2. Take a sharp phone photo from straight above in daylight, without shadow.
  3. Choose the photo here. The tool finds the print, crops a square around it and cleans the paper.
  4. Check the green ticks (pixels, KB, DPI) and press Download JPG.

Official size (IBPS / SBI)

IBPS notices say: left thumb impression on white paper with black or blue ink, JPG, 240 × 240 pixels in 200 DPI (3 cm × 3 cm), 20 KB – 50 KB. If the left thumb is missing, use the right thumb and mention it as the notice explains. Other exams may use different numbers – choose Custom size and type the values from your notification.

Frequently asked questions

What is the size of a thumb impression for IBPS?

240 × 240 pixels at 200 DPI (3 × 3 cm), JPG, between 20 KB and 50 KB, as per IBPS notifications. Always confirm in your exam notice.

My file is smaller than 20 KB. Is that OK?

No – the portal may reject it. This tool raises quality and, if needed, adds harmless padding so the file falls inside 20–50 KB without changing the image.

Can I use the right thumb?

Only if the left thumb is not available, and you must state it as the notice says.

Is my thumb print uploaded anywhere?

No. The image is processed only in your browser and never leaves your phone or computer.
