How to write a good Instagram bio
- Put your name or brand on the first line. It is what people read first.
- Add 2–4 short lines: what you do, where you are and what you want visitors to do (DM, shop, follow).
- Use emoji as bullets at the start of each line.
- Stay under the 150-character limit. The counter shows how much you have used.
- For a business, end with a call to action such as “Order via DM 👇”.
Paste straight into Edit profile › Bio. If your line breaks disappear, run the text through the Line Break tool.
