When do forms ask for name and date on the photo?
Several recruitment and admission notices ask that the photograph shows the candidate's name and the date the photo was taken printed below the face, so that old photos are not reused. This tool adds a clean white strip with your name and date under the photo, keeps the face area uncovered, and saves a JPG within the KB limit you set.
How to use
- Choose a recent photo and drag/zoom so the face is centred.
- Type the name exactly as in the form – Hindi (Devanagari) and English both work.
- Check the date (today by default) and the date format.
- Set the width, height and maximum KB from your notice. The defaults 200 × 230 px and 50 KB match the bank-exam style photo spec described in our photo & signature size guide – change them if your notice differs.
- Press Download JPG.

Frequently asked questions
Will Hindi names show correctly?
Yes. The name is drawn with your device's Devanagari font, so conjuncts like “श्रीकृष्ण” and matras render properly.
Does the name cover my face?
No. A separate white strip is added at the bottom (about one-fifth of the height); the face area stays clear.
Is my name saved or sent anywhere?
No. The name is used only inside your browser to draw the image. It is not stored, not added to the link and not sent to analytics.
Can I set the size in KB?
Yes, enter the maximum KB and the tool keeps the JPG at or under it.
