About the IBPS Clerk (CRP Clerks / Customer Service Associate) uploads

IBPS Clerk uses the same common upload guidelines as other IBPS CRP exams such as PO and RRB. If you already prepared your files for IBPS PO, they normally work here too – but open the current notice to confirm before you submit.

How to prepare the four files

  1. Photo: take a recent front-facing photo against a white wall with even light. No cap or dark glasses; if you wear spectacles, avoid reflections. Crop to the head and shoulders, then use the photo preset above.
  2. Signature: sign on plain white paper with a black pen – not in capital letters. Photograph or scan it, crop tightly around the ink and use the signature preset. If the paper looks grey, clean it first with the signature background remover.
  3. Left thumb impression: press your left thumb on a black or blue ink pad and then on white paper. Crop to a square and use the thumb preset.
  4. Handwritten declaration: write the declaration text given in the notice in English, in your own running handwriting (not capitals), on white paper with black ink. Crop to a wide rectangle and use the declaration preset.

Tip: put the signature, thumb impression and declaration on one A4 sheet, scan it once, and cut all of them out with the bulk photo & signature cropper.

Common reasons uploads get rejected

  • Photo or signature uploaded in each other's place.
  • File just over the limit (for example 51 KB) – aim for 45 KB rather than exactly 50 KB.
  • Blurry, dark or tilted photo, or a selfie with a busy background.
  • Signature or declaration written in capital letters.
