Retirement Date Calculator – Date of Superannuation by DOB
Government employees do not retire on their birthday. Under FR 56 you retire on the afternoon of the last day of the month in which you attain the retirement age – and if you were born on the 1st, on the last day of the previous month. How the date of retirement is worked out
A person attains an age on the day before the birthday. FR 56(a) says a Government servant retires on the afternoon of the last day of the month in which he or she attains the age of superannuation; if the date of birth is the 1st of a month, retirement is on the last day of the preceding month.

Retirement age by service
Central Government civil employees, railways and most states (including Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar) use 60 years. Some states use 58 (for example Maharashtra Group A–C and Gujarat), Andhra Pradesh uses 62, and many university teachers and doctors 62–65.
