असरदार रिज़्यूमे कैसे लिखें
क्रम: name and contact, a 2–3 line summary, experience (most recent first), education, skills. Freshers can put education and projects before experience.
ड्यूटी नहीं, नतीजे लिखें। Instead of "Responsible for social media", write "Grew the college club's Instagram from 400 to 2,100 followers in 8 months by posting 4 times a week." Use only numbers you can back up in an interview.
आसानी से पढ़ने लायक रखें: one page for freshers and up to two for experienced people, plain headings, and no tables or photos unless the employer asks. Applicant tracking systems read plain text best.
हर नौकरी के अनुसार बदलें: reuse the job advert's wording for skills you really have (for example "Excel – pivot tables, VLOOKUP"). Save a separate PDF for each application, and name it Firstname-Lastname-Resume.pdf.
ATS रिज़्यूमे टेम्पलेट टिप्स
Most US, UK, Canadian and Australian employers screen resumes with an applicant tracking system (ATS) before a person reads them. All eight templates here use real, selectable text in a single reading order with standard headings such as Experience, Education and Skills. That makes them easy for an ATS to parse.
- Use the job title and key skills from the job ad in your own words. Don't paste lists of keywords.
- Keep dates in one format (for example “Jan 2023 – Present”) and put your most recent role first.
- Start bullet points with an action and a result: “Cut invoice errors by 30% by…”.
- Download the PDF with selectable text (Print / Save as PDF) when a portal accepts PDFs. Use Word only if the employer asks for it.
US Letter या A4 में रिज़्यूमे PDF
The US and Canada use US Letter (8.5 × 11 in). The UK, Australia, India and most other countries use A4 (210 × 297 mm). Choose the paper size in step 3 (Design) before you download, so margins and page breaks match what recruiters print. In the US a resume is usually 1 page (2 for senior roles), and photos, date of birth and marital status are normally left out. A UK or Australian CV is often 2 pages.
