What is a purchase order?
A purchase order (PO) is the buyer’s written order to a vendor, listing items, quantities, prices and terms. The vendor issues the invoice and the buyer issues the PO. Number them in sequence (PO-001, PO-002 and so on) to keep track. Enter your local sales tax or VAT rate in Tax %.
